1967 Motor City Dragway

Testing two identical 1967 Pontiac GTO’s equipped with 400 c.i./360HP Ram Air. The only exception is the near lane has the optional automatic TH400 and far lane has a optional M-21 Muncie four-speed.

Both cars are equipped with Hurst shifters and Hurst Mags. Milt Schornack of Ace Wilson’s Royal Pontiac Dealership tuned both cars using their famous Royal Bobcat kits.

The automatic was picked up by Marty Schorr of Cars magazine for testing. The manual shift car was sent to California for the Trick Stuff article.
